The Little Wattlebird Band create nature inspired folk-pop melodies for children and their families.
Based in the Moreton Bay Region, songwriters Tim and Rebecca make music that engage children’s imagination while celebrating the wonders of nature and the magical discoveries of childhood.
With their combined skills in music, visual arts and early childhood education, the duo were inspired to create music for children and families after becoming parents themselves. Their music reflects their joyous experiences in nature with their daughter and the amazing creatures they meet along the way.
The band have released five singles to date: ‘Birds in my Neighbourhood’, ‘5 Honeybees’, ‘Little Magpie Lark’, ‘Homemade Christmas Tree’ and 'Ride In A Cloud'. Their songs have received regular airplay on ABC Kids Listen and Kinderling Kids Radio.
The Little Wattlebird Band have brought their wonderful and interactive stage show to multiple community events in the Moreton Bay region including: Moreton Kids Festival, Redcliffe Mini Music and Arts Festival, Hills Festival, Moreton Bay Eco Fest and multiple shows at Moreton Bay Regional and Brisbane City Council libraries.
