We are delighted to be performing at Kombartcho Sanctuary for International Fairy Day.
We have been enjoying writing two new songs especially for the event.
It's on Friday 24th June 10am-12pm at Kombartcho Sanctuary 15 Bunya Pine Ct, Eatons Hill.
We will be performing at 10:30, there will be plenty of space on the grass to get comfortable and enjoy the show. There is also plenty of other fairy activities to take part in.
We can't wait to see you there!
Tomorrow Sunday June 5th is World Environment Day.
The theme this year is 'Only One Earth' Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature, calling for collective, transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect and restore our planet.
We can respect our precious nature in many small ways including taking all our rubbish with us after spending time in nature, composting our food scraps and using recycling programs to recycle goods that do not need to go to landfill.
You can check out terracycle.com.au for their programs and you can recycle batteries and phones at Woolworths and textas and pens at Officeworks to mention a few programs.
This photo was taken at Kondalilla National Park in the Sunshine Coast on Gubbi Gubbi Country. Did you know Kondalilla Falls got its name from the Aboriginal word meaning "rushing waters"? It's a truly beautiful nature spot to visit in Queensland.
How are you going to celebrate World Environment Day this year? Happy World Environment Day!
"One of the first conditions of happiness is that the link between man and nature shall not be broken."
We had such a wonderful day performing for children and families at the 2022 Redcliffe Mini Music and Arts Festival. It was also a special day as we debuted our 'Wonders of Music' workshop in the Festival's workshop teepee.
It was heartwarming to see the little ones and their caregivers sing along to our songs and participate in the workshop. We had a lot of fun together!
The event organizers did a terrific job running the day, they were a pleasure to work with and we look forward to performing at more MBRIT events in the future.
Save the date!
We are super dooper excited to announce that we will be bringing our live show to this wonderful free community event this month!
We will also be delivering 2 sessions of our workshop "Wonders of Music Workshop with The Little Wattlebird Band" for the mini-musicians and we can't wait!
It's at 8:30-12:30 on Thursday 21st April at Newport Park, Spinnaker Boulevard, Newport.
The program looks amazing and it's going to be a very special experience for children and families.
