Tomorrow Sunday June 5th is World Environment Day. The theme this year is 'Only One Earth' Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature, calling for collective, transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect and restore our planet. We can respect our precious nature in many small ways including taking all our rubbish with us after spending time in nature, composting our food scraps and using recycling programs to recycle goods that do not need to go to landfill. You can check out terracycle.com.au for their programs and you can recycle batteries and phones at Woolworths and textas and pens at Officeworks to mention a few programs. This photo was taken at Kondalilla National Park in the Sunshine Coast on Gubbi Gubbi Country. Did you know Kondalilla Falls got its name from the Aboriginal word meaning "rushing waters"? It's a truly beautiful nature spot to visit in Queensland. How are you going to celebrate World Environment Day this year? Happy World Environment Day! "One of the first conditions of happiness is that the link between man and nature shall not be broken." Leo Tolstoy
